Sie ist vor allem durch ihre Rollen als Megan in der Sketch-Show Life Bites, als Mohini „Mo“ Banjaree in dem Fernsehfilm Lemonade Mouth – Die Geschichte einer Band und als Prinzessin Jasmin im Fantasyfilm Aladdin bekannt.
